Reece James and Mason Mount have been named by Gareth Southgate in the latest England squad ahead of two upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The duo both missed our midweek Champions League trip to Turin with niggling injuries, James after hobbling off at the weekend against Manchester City with an ankle issue and Mount having picked up a knock in our previous game in the Carabao Cup.

Yet the Chelsea Academy graduates remain a big part of Southgate's plans as the bid to reach Qatar 2022 continues with qualifiers away in Andorra next weekend and at Wembley against Hungary the following Tuesday.

Mount featured in all three of the September qualifiers for the Three Lions and could pass the quarter-century cap mark for his country if he appears in these upcoming games. James, meanwhile, has stiff competition at right-back but started the recent 4-0 win against Andorra.

Both will be hoping to first be back fit this weekend as the Blues host Southampton in the Premier League.
