A dozen aspiring entrepreneurs completed their intensive four-week programme with a day of quick-fire pitch presentations.

Invited expert guests from Brunel University contributed fantastic feedback and offered up further connections and possibilities.

The group left vibrated about their experience and plan to meet weekly at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith to continue supporting each other on their entrepreneurial journeys.

Chelsea Foundation programme lead James Byford said: ‘It’s been a tough 18 months – undertaking digital transformation to provide the programme entirely online, now working out how to blend the experience with a return to Stamford Bridge.

‘Thankfully the sunny day and the Millennium Suite provided a perfect setting to end what many participants describe as a life-changing experience.

‘We really are way out front with the work we’re doing, and I couldn’t be more proud of the collaborative efforts of the group.’

Participant Luana Radovic said: ‘The main highlight of my whole learning experience during my course has been the time spent with my group and tutor James Byford, during our Elevator Pitch at the Millennium Suite.

‘It has been such an amazing experience. I believe that we all have learnt a lot and this course will help all of us to have a more knowledge and confidence to continue our business. Big thanks to our tutor James. It could not have gone better!’

Giulio Sabia also took part in the programme and he added: ‘It was fundamental for me to learn how to manage my activity in detail, how to realize a business plan and organise my workflow in a way that I never considered before.

‘I'm way more confident about my business now and I'm using the knowledge acquired directly on the field for my start up, this is a result that far exceeded my expectations. It was also interesting for me to meet other entrepreneurs and learn about their experiences, understand their point of view and the different approach to solve the problems that every business fronts.

‘Last but not least, our teacher James Byford was amazing. He was always supportive, positive and ready to explain everything to reach the goals. His calmness and patience made everybody comfortable, his wide expertise and excellent communication skills were a real treat for me, I really needed this kind of experience to start a new chapter in my life.’
