Saturday's Premier League action starts with Chelsea against the Canaries at Stamford Bridge, and our preview begins with the key match stats and info...

Chelsea vs Norwich head to head

Gavin Peacock reduced the deficit late on from a Steve Clarke cross-header. They have taken just one point from their last seven trips to Stamford Bridge.

At Brentford, Edouard Mendy kept his 30th clean sheet on his 54th appearance. Only Petr Cech managed fewer games to reach that milestone (51).

Chelsea are the first team in the top four tiers of English football to win seven consecutive away London derbies, only conceding one goal in those games.

Chelsea haven’t won any of our last four Premier League matches that have kicked off at 12.30pm on a Saturday, losing the last two against West Brom in April and Man City in September.

Norwich’s successive goalless draws against Burnley and Brighton in the Premier League was the first time they have kept back-to-back clean sheets in the competition since March 2016. They are looking to keep three consecutive Premier League shut outs for the first time since November 2012.

Daniel Farke’s side have yet to score a goal in their four Premier League games on the road – Man City 0-5, Arsenal 0-1, Everton 0-2, Burnley 0-0. They are without a goal in their last 10 hours and 26 minutes of play on the road in the competition, since Emi Buendia netted against Watford in July 2020.

Norwich have failed to score more than once in any of their last 26 Premier League matches, netting just seven goals in total in this run. No side has ever had a longer such run in the competition’s history.

Norwich haven’t won any of their last 16 Premier League away games, scoring just four goals in that run.

Billy Gilmour is ineligible to play due to the terms of his loan. He has started in half of Norwich’s eight Premier League games and has been an unused sub in their last three. For Scotland he has started all five internationals this season.
