Chelsea have been drawn to face Brentford in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup.

We will face the Bees at the Brentford Community Stadium in late December, with fixture details to be confirmed in due course.

The Blues booked our place in the last eight of the competition after beating Southampton on penalties at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday tonight, with the draw for the next round conducted live on Sky Sports’ Soccer AM this morning.

Chelsea have beaten two Premier League teams – Aston Villa and Southampton – both on penalties to get this far, with Reece James scoring the winning spot-kick in both shoot-outs.

All quarter-finals matches are scheduled to be played on 21 and 22 December, with further details to be announced in due course once confirmed.

Chelsea are attempting to win the League Cup for the sixth time in the club’s history, with our most recent victory coming in 2015 under Jose Mourinho.
