Chelsea stats

Chelsea are looking to avoid losing consecutive away Champions League games for the first time since November 2012 when we lost to Shakhtar Donetsk and Juventus in the group stage when Roberto Di Matteo was in charge.

Our next goal will be the 500th to be scored by Chelsea in European competitive matches.

Chelsea need to score two goals to reach 2,000 since Roman Abramovich purchased the club in 2003.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are seeking a seventh successive win (include the one on penalties against Southampton) since our defeat to Juventus on 29 September.

Our 34 goals this season have come from 17 different players plus one own goal. The club record in a single season is 20 (excluding own goals), which we achieved in 2015/16. Cesar Azpilicueta, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Malang Sarr and Saul have still to find the net this term.

Chelsea have kept more clean sheets (11) than any other side in the Champions League since the start of last season, conceding just five goals from 16 games in the competition during this period.

The Matchday Two defeat at Juventus was only Chelsea's fourth in our last 22 Champions League matches (13 wins, five defeats).

Thomas Tuchel has now been in charge at Chelsea for 10 games in the Champions League. We have conceded three goals under the German so far, which is the joint-fewest for a manager’s first 10 games at a club in the competition (along with Fabio Capello at AC Milan and Jose Mourinho in Real Madrid).
