Chelsea manager Emma Hayes says her players must be ruthless in the pursuit of excellence when we face Servette in tomorrow’s Champions League tie.

A superb 2-1 away win over Juventus followed a thrilling 3-3 draw with Wolfsburg and leaves us joint top of the Group A table with the German side after two games. In contrast the Swiss have suffered two heavy defeats and are yet to score a goal, losing 5-0 to Wolfsburg and 3-0 to Juve. However Hayes, who guided us to the Champions League final last season, says that despite beating Aston Villa 1-0 on Saturday to earn a fifth Women’s Super League win a row, there is no room for complacency.‘What I want to see when we get that first goal is to build on it and be more relentless instead of feeling like we have got the goal and it takes the pressure off,’ Hayes said in the pre-match press conference.‘When you're in a game and it's only 1-0, you leave the other team in it. I want to see the team persist in being a bit more relentless after the first goal. It's something we want to make more conscious in all the players.’That focus and determination must come at both ends of the pitch.‘You have to take pride in keeping clean sheets as a team,’ added Hayes. ‘It’s not about one player. I have seen that hunger in the team to make it extremely difficult for the opponent to create much.’

Hayes expects to have a fully-fit squad to choose from, with both striker Pernille Harder and defender Aniek Nouwen set to be available. Harder was left out against Villa and Nouwen taken off as a precaution.Hayes said the whole group were in a good place and the rotation that saw five changes for the win over Villa has to become normal with so many games in so many competitions.‘I really feel a good energy across the team and I think that's being rewarded with the minutes everyone is getting. And I know we will need everyone if we are going to go far into the latter stages of the season. You don’t win anything now. We have to keep everyone fresh and hungry.‘The demands on all these players means it is very difficult to pick the same 11 players.’Tuesday’s fixture kicks off at 5.45pm UK time (6.45pm CET) and fans can watch a live stream of the match on the Official Chelsea Website and The 5th Stand app. Before then, get involved in our new Women’s Play Predictor for a chance to win some great prizes!
