Following the completion today of the process to appoint three supporter advisors to attend Club board meetings, to ensure supporter sentiment is considered as part of the Club’s decision-making process, we can announce the advisors selected.

The process, which started in May this year, selected one advisor through the Fans’ Forum, one through diversity and equality representatives on the Fans’ Forum and Chelsea Pride, and one from unofficial supporters’ groups, elected by season ticket holders and members from candidates put forward by the groups. The advisor chosen through the Fans’ Forum is Tim McGeever. From a family of Chelsea fans, Tim has supported the Blues for over three decades and enjoys home matches from Westview. He is a current member of the Fans’ Forum, representing Hospitality having served on the Forum previously as the representative for season ticket holders.

The advisor selected through the diversity and equality representatives is Tracy Brown, again a Chelsea supporter for over 30 years who is the chair of Chelsea Pride, the LGBTQ+ supporters’ group for Chelsea for the past five years. Tracy is also part of the committees for Pride in Football, a network for LGBTQ+ supporters’ groups in the UK, and for Rainbow Wall, the LGBTQ+ supporters’ group for the Welsh international men's and women's team. Tracy is also on the guidance council for the Football Supporters’ Association. The advisor elected to represent unofficial supporters’ groups is Neil Beard whose first Chelsea game was in 1970. Neil has followed the team home and away and in Europe for many years and has in the past represented the Chelsea Independent Supporters Association and CFCUK on the Fans’ Forum. He was elected the vice-chair of the Chelsea Supporters Trust on its launch.
