Blues Bulletin: West Ham United vs Chelsea

The Blues play our fifth London derby of the season on Saturday, and here are all the vital facts and statistics you need ahead of Saturday's game.

West Ham United vs Chelsea head to head

West Ham’s last victory in this fixture was in July 2020 when Willian scored both our goals in the 3-2 defeat.

Chelsea stats

The Blues have won five consecutive Premier League away games for the first time since November 2019. If we come away from the London Stadium with maximum points it would be the first time we have managed six successive victories on the road since December 2016.

Eight of the 10 goals we have conceded this season in all competitions have been scored in the second half.

Only Liverpool (43) have scored more Premier League goals this season than Chelsea (33).

Excluding own goals, 16 different players have scored a Premier League goal this season.

If fit, Mateo Kovacic could make his 100th Premier League appearance.

The Hammers have equalled (with 2014/15) their best-ever start to a Premier League season after 14 games with 24 points.

Against Brighton on Wednesday, David Moyes was in charge for his 50th Premier League home game for the Hammers. He is only the third manager to reach that particular milestone for West Ham in the competition, after Harry Redknapp and Sam Allardyce. The Hammers average 1.63 goals per Premier League home game under the Scotsman, their best such ratio under any manager in the competition.

Moyes has recently joined the LMA 1,000 games club. Four former Chelsea managers have also reached that milestone – Carlo Ancelotti, Rafael Benitez, Jose Mourinho and Claudio Ranieri.

David Moyes' managerial record against Chelsea:
Won 5
Drawn 13
Lost 24

There are no suspensions.

In the Premier League, five yellow cards received before 19 league fixtures have been played will result in a one-match-suspension in the competition.
