There are two changes for Chelsea from our weekend win against Leeds as we prepare to welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge…

Kai Havertz and Timo Werner are absent from the side, with the German duo replaced by Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic. The latter is expected to spearhead the attack alongside Ziyech and Mason Mount, who has scored three goals in our past four matches.

The rest of the side are unchanged from Saturday’s dramatic 3-2 win. Cesar Azpilicueta continues as captain alongside Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger in front of Edouard Mendy in goal, while Marcos Alonso and Reece James are the wing-backs.

After netting two pressure penalties at the weekend, Jorginho starts in central midfield alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek. N’Golo Kante and Trevoh Chalobah return from injury to start on the Blues bench.

Everton are also depleted from their last league outing, a 3-1 reverse at Crystal Palace, meaning 20-year-old striker Ellis Simms and teenage defender Jarrad Branthwaite make their Premier League debuts.
