A whole host of Chelsea players have been named on shortlists for this year’s London Football Awards, including a quartet leading the way with nominations in the men’s and women’s individual categories.

Jorginho, Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva are recognised for the Premier League Player of the Year, alongside West Ham pair Jarrod Bowen and Declan Rice, while Sam Kerr is nominated for the Women’s Super League Player of the Year.

Kerr also features as one of four Blues listed for the Goal of the Season award, which supporters can vote for now right here. The Australian international will do battle with Mateo Kovacic, Hakim Ziyech and on-loan midfielder Conor Gallagher following her sensational strike against Arsenal in the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley last December.

Kovacic’s incredible volley against Liverpool and Ziyech’s brilliant bending strike to open the scoring in our derby with Tottenham are also available for selection, as is Gallagher’s finish in Crystal Palace’s grudge match away at Brighton. The 22-year-old is recognised in another individual category for Men’s Young Player of the Year.

The goal vote is open now and will close on Wednesday 16 February. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony next month.

Edouard Mendy also features among the nominees in the Goalkeeper of the Year category, while Thomas Tuchel is shortlisted for Manager of the Year and the Chelsea Foundation’s No To Hate campaign is one of three contenders for Community Project of the Year.
