Gareth Southgate has called up Mason Mount and Reece James, plus on-loan Conor Gallagher, for England’s two friendly internationals to be played before the end of the month.
James has not played in Chelsea’s past three fixtures due to a muscular problem but is in the Three Lions squad to face Switzerland on Saturday 26 March and Ivory Coast on Tuesday 29 March, with both matches at Wembley Stadium.Gallagher, who has scored eight times from midfield during his loan at Crystal Palace this season, made his England debut in November when coming on at half-time against San Marino.
Mount will be hoping to add to his 26 international caps.
