The ePremier League Grand Finals take place this weekend with two players representing Chelsea. Here is all you need to know ahead of the finals…

When and where are the ePremier League Grand Finals?

They will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March, with some of the world’s best EA SPORTS™ FIFA 22 players competing to win the title for their club.

Players competing at Here East in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

What is the prize for the winners?

Now into its fourth year, this season’s tournament sees the prize pool increased to £100,000, with three seats on offer for top-ranking players at the EA SPORTS™ FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs.

Where can I watch?

Once again, the finals will be televised live in the UK by Sky Sports Premier League, with tournament action also shown across Premier League channels (YouTube, web, app, Twitter and Facebook) and on EA’s Twitch channel, http://twitch.tv/EASPORTSFIFA.

The format..

All 20 Premier League clubs hosted thrilling Club Playoffs earlier in the year, with 40 players, two per club, progressing to the Grand Finals.

There is a change to the tournament format for this year’s Grand Finals. Players will work collaboratively as a team by taking part in a series of 1 vs 1 matches against pairings from other clubs, with one player competing per console, in a two-legged tie. Clubs are split into four groups for Saturday’s matches, with the top two in each group progressing to Sunday’s knockout stages. The two victorious players in the overall final will win the honour of ePremier League champion for their club.

Chelsea are potted in Group A alongside Brighton, West Ham, Brentford and Arsenal.

The top two in this group will progress to the knockout stages, alongside the top two sides from Group B, C and D.

So who is competing for Chelsea?

There are two players representing the Blues. One on Playstation 5 and the other on Xbox Series X/S.

We recently caught up with them and asked them a series of questions about themselves…

NAME: Dan RayGAMER TAG: StingrayjnrSOCIAL HANDLE: @stingrayjnrCONSOLE: Playstation 5PLAYER PROFILE: For 18-year-old Daniel, the opportunity to represent Chelsea in the ePL finals marks the culmination of a remarkable first couple of years playing FIFA competitively.

Daniel has his eye on getting the better of the ePL champion from two seasons ago, Thomas Leese, who he sees as his biggest rival.

Although Bromley-born Daniel supports Charlton Athletic, he is honoured to play for the reigning European champions and would love nothing more than to beat our London rivals, Tottenham.

Why should people be excited for the ePL?The ePremier League sees the UK’s 40 best players going head-to-head against each other.

What would it mean to you to win the ePL?It would mean the world to me. It would finally show everyone how good I really am.

What formation and style of play do you adopt in-game usually?I used the 4-1-2-1-2 formation as it helps me blitz opponents.

What would it mean to you to win the ePL?It would be great. It would show that me and my teammate are two of the best in the UK and would be another trophy for Chelsea as a club in what has been a very successful year.

What formation and style of play do you adopt in-game usually?I predominantly use the 4-2-3-1 formation in-game. This allows me to be solid in defence and still strong going forward.
