The midfielder replaces Ruben Loftus-Cheek and captains the Blues. Thomas Tuchel also brings Trevoh Chalobah and Andreas Christensen into the defence. Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva make way, and there is a spot in our attack for Mason Mount, who comes in for Timo Werner.

For Leeds, former Chelsea Academy midfielder Lewis Bate starts a Premier League game for the first time. Their captain Liam Cooper is back after injury.
