These games join our involvement in the week-long ‘Clash of Nations’ tour and a stateside derby against Arsenal at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Saturday 23 July.

Prior to that trip to Florida, the Blues will begin our trio of fixtures against Club America, Mexico’s most successful club team, on Saturday 16 July at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

It will be our third meeting with the side from Mexico City, whom we last faced 13 years ago in Texas when goals from Franco Di Santo and Florent Malouda sealed a 2-0 victory.

We will then head to North Carolina to take on Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC on Wednesday 20 July at the Bank of America Stadium. Our previous trip there was for a friendly against Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2015, watched by over 60,000 spectators. Kick-off times for the games will be confirmed in due course but they will take place in the evening.

Tickets for both games will go on sale on Wednesday 25 May at 3pm (UK time). However, a pre-sale of tickets is now open and Chelsea fans can use the code ‘BLUES’ to access the tickets.

Chelsea technical and performance advisor Petr Cech said: 'We’ve always had a lot of success on our US tours, taking so many fans to the stadiums and giving them the opportunity to see Chelsea FC play live. We have a huge fanbase in the US that we’ve proudly built and we’ve seen that fanbase getting bigger and bigger every year.

'We are delighted to go and play in the FC Series and the Florida Cup, where in total we will have three competitive games to prepare well for our upcoming season and to show what we can do to the American audience.'

The FC Series features Orlando City, Arsenal, Charlotte FC and Club America, as well as Chelsea, with matches taking place in Las Vegas, Charlotte and Orlando. Our final game against the Gunners will also decide the Florida Cup.

The club will be joining under new ownership. The Blues will only travel if the sale of the club has completed and accordingly are no longer subject to United Kingdom government sanctions.

Full ticket information for the FC Series is available at FCSeries.com. Broadcast information will be announced later this year.
