The quarter-final stage of the Goal of the Season voting concludes today as we ask you to choose between the last two of 2021/22's nominated strikes.

The winner of the award is being decided by a poll of Blues fans, taking place in a knock-out format, with the eight nominated goals going head-to-head in a series of quarter-finals, which conclude today. Mateo Kovacic, Erin Cuthbert and Toni Rudiger have already booked their place in the next round, but who else will join them to complete our semi-final line-up?

Today's pair of goals feature two pieces of individual brilliance, as we ask you to choose between Pernille Harder's solo run at Manchester United and Harvey Vale's pinpoint curler against Blackpool.

Harder's effort was the pick of the bunch from a 6-1 thrashing Chelsea Women inflicted on United, and her first goal of the season. She picked up the ball on the halfway line and shrugged off challenges left and right from United defenders to race clear into the box before lifting a delicate finish over the keeper.

Vale's nomination is for his stunning strike for our Under-18s in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final win over Blackpool. Picking up a loose ball on the edge of the box he sold the defender a dummy, cut inside and took aim to curl a beautiful strike right into the top far corner to level the tie.

You can watch those two goals in the videos above before casting your vote for which one makes it to the semi-finals below. Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for the first our second-round polls...

Voting closes at 11.59pm UK time on Saturday evening.
