When is the Premier League fixture release date?

The 2022/23 Premier League fixtures are announced at 9am on Thursday 16 June. You can find out who we play when on our website and The 5th Stand app.

When does the Premier League season start?

The 2022/23 campaign begins on the weekend of Saturday 6 August.

When does the Premier League season end?

The season is set to finish on 28 May 2023.

When will the season stop for the World Cup?

The season has been adjusted to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar, which will take place in the middle of the domestic calendar.

Match round 16, over the weekend of 12/13 November, will be the last set of matches played ahead of the call-up period for the tournament, which starts on 21 November.

When will the Premier League season restart after the World Cup?

The Premier League will resume on Boxing Day following the World Cup final, which takes place on Sunday 18 December.

What about the Champions League and the domestic cups?

The Champions League group stage begins on 6/7 September, one week earlier than in 2021/22. Group matches will be played on back-to-back weeks, rather than in two- and three-week intervals, to ensure they are completed before the World Cup. The group stage draw is on 25 August.

The final takes place on 10 June in Istanbul.

The FA Cup third round is on the weekend of 8/9 January, with the final taking place on 3 June. The third round of the Carabao Cup is scheduled for 9 November, and the final is on 26 February.
