Chelsea is delighted to confirm that Academy full-back Chloe Sarwie has signed her first professional contract with the club until the summer of 2028.

Having joined Chelsea at the age of nine, Sarwie moved through our Academy and in the 2024/25 campaign, was selected to play up an age category as a 16-year-old in our Under-18 side.

The talented youngster has represented England at all youth age groups, and in November 2025 was selected for the England Under-23 squad at the age of 16.

Sarwie made her debut for the Blues in the Women's Champions League, coming on as a second-half substitute away at FC Twente just over two months before her 17th birthday.

After celebrating her 17th birthday on 19 December, the full-back made her first appearance in the Women's Super League on 11 January 2026, replacing Sandy Baltimore in the 80th minute of our 5-0 victory over West Ham United.

On committing her immediate future to Chelsea, Sarwie said: ‘I’m just really proud and grateful. It feels a bit surreal because I’ve been working towards this goal for so long. To finally sign my first professional contract means everything to me.’

Everyone at Chelsea would like to congratulate Chloe on her first professional contract and wish her every success for the years to come.
