The Premier League have now announced all of our Academy fixtures for the new season, with both sides knowing our first opponents as we prepare to kick off our respective campaigns.

Chelsea Under-21s will begin our Premier League 2 campaign with a trip down to the South Coast, where we face Bournemouth on Friday 21 August, with kick-off at 7pm at the Wyatt Homes Stadium.

Our Under-18s are in action a few days earlier on Wednesday 19 August, when we welcome Norwich City to Cobham for a 1pm kick-off.

With the fixtures now in the calendar for the season ahead, both squads continue their preparations for competitive action while also building up their fitness levels ahead of the new campaign.

Our Under-21s recently faced Championship side Charlton Athletic in pre-season, securing a 3-1 victory thanks to a brace by Chizaram Ezenwata and a goal from new signing Harrison Bettoni.

Meanwhile, our Under-18s were involved in an entertaining fixture against Bournemouth, running out 7-4 winners. Jashayde Greenwood led the way with four goals, while Andrew Pennie and Heze Grimwade were also on the score sheet.

Final preparations are now in full swing before the season begins, with our Under-21s currently away competing in the Otten Cup, organised by Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. The Blues will be in action throughout the tournament before returning to Cobham on Sunday.
