Chelsea can today confirm forward Aimee Claypole has completed a permanent move to Nottingham Forest.
Claypole came through our Academy system and signed professional terms in November 2023 when she turned 18.
She had previously made her senior debut for the Blues in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the Women’s FA Cup in January 2022, and her WSL debut came a year later in March 2023.
The forward has spent loan spells at Lewes and Swedish side Linkoping, before making another loan move to Durham for the final part of the 2024/25 campaign. There, she scored five goals and earned a nomination for Women’s Championship Player of the Season.
On the international stage, Claypole represented Finland Under-15s before playing for England at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Aimee the very best for the future as she begins a new chapter in her career.
