The Blues travel to Villa Park on Sunday for our first away match of the Women's Super League campaign, and Sonia Bompastor's side will be looking to make it back-to-back victories after overcoming Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
A 2-1 victory over City, who are fellow WSL title hopefuls, was secured thanks to goals from Aggie Beever-Jones and Maika Hamano.
Now, the thoughts of Bompastor and her players turn to Villa and securing our first away victory of the season. Here's what you need to know ahead of the game...
When and where
We will take on Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday 12 September, with a 12pm kick-off scheduled.

The form
Aston Villa have recorded five wins and a draw in their last six WSL matches. It is the club's longest unbeaten run since March 2023, when a 3-0victory for the Blues brought an end to a seven-game streak without defeat.
Villa won their final two home games in the WSL last season and opened their 2025/26 WSL campaign with a 0-0 draw away at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Blues, meanwhile, are unbeaten in our last 17 games away from home in the WSL, having gone unbeaten domestically in Sonia Bompastor's first season in charge.
Recent head-to-head
Aston Villa have lost each of their 10 WSL meetings with Chelsea – and the Blues have won our past five league away games against the Midlands club by an aggregate score of 15-0.
Chelsea have kept nine clean sheets in 10 overall meetings with the Villans in the top-flight. Our opponents have never kept a clean sheet in those 10 previous WSL matches.
