Joining the Blues Academy as an under-11 from grassroots football, Ampah progressed through the youth ranks at Cobham and showcased his quality in both our Under-18s and Under-21s sides in the past four seasons.

Last term, he made 29 appearances for our Under-21s across all competitions and scored five goals.

A confident and direct wide player, the 19-year-old was also handed his senior debut when introduced at half-time of our UEFA Conference League victory over Astana in Kazakhstan.

Ampah has also featured on the international stage, representing England Under-18s.
