After Sam Kerr made her 150th appearance for the Blues in the 2-0 win over Liverpool, we are asking Chelsea supporters to vote for your favourite moment from the Australian striker.
It was back in September when Kerr made her long-awaited comeback from injury, returning to the pitch after a 634-day layoff as a substitute against Aston Villa.
On that day, she also passed the 100-goals mark for the club as she immediately found the back of the net in our 3-1 win at Villa Park.
Having reached another milestone in the WSL last time out, we have gone into the archives to find the best Sam Kerr moments in a Chelsea shirt and we want you to get involved and vote for your favourite on the Chelsea Official App.
Kerr makes Chelsea debut - 5 Jan 2020
Having split her playing time between Perth Glory in the Australian W-League and Chicago Red Stars in America’s NWSL, Kerr signed for Chelsea in November 2019 ahead of the opening of the winter transfer window. Her first appearance in Blue came against Reading in the Women's Super League just after the turn of the year, coming on as a second-half substitute for Emma Hayes' side.
First goal for Chelsea - 19 Jan 2020
It didn't take long for the striker to get off the mark as Kerr started as she meant to go on with a goal against London rivals Arsenal. The Australian headed in Chelsea's second goal from Guro Reiten's ball just three minutes after Bethany England's opener. Sophie Ingle also bagged a goal to make it 3-0 to the Blues inside the opening 20 minutes as we eventually came out with a 4-1 win.
A Conti Cup final hat-trick - 14 March 2021
Chelsea lifted the second of our three Women's League Cup titles, and Kerr was instrumental in ensuring we did so. Netting a hat-trick in a 6-0 win over Bristol City, this would not be the first time in which the striker would be front an centre in a major domestic final.
Claims WSL Golden Boot as Chelsea win the league - 10 May 2021
A 5-0 victory over Reading on the final day of the 2021/22 campaign saw us clinch the WSL title, as Kerr volleyed home her 21st goal of the campaign. That strike ensured she clinched her first-ever WSL golden boot as a well-deserved individual accolade in addition to our league victory, capping off a successful day at Kingsmeadow.
Scores twice in delayed Women's FA Cup final - 5 Dec 2021
It might've been strange to be playing a cup final in the middle of winter, but that mattered little to Sam Kerr. She completed her brace with an audacious chip – and an equally cheeky celebration – in a 3-0 win over rivals Arsenal to complete our first domestic Treble at Wembley Stadium. Chelsea put on a dominant performance as the Gunners were well beaten and Kerr was unlucky not to have bagged a hat-trick as she smashed another shot onto the woodwork.
Helps clinch WSL title on dramatic final day - 8 May 2022
Another final day, another special Sam Kerr performance. Chelsea needed to defeat Manchester United on the final day to secure a historic third consecutive league title – and the Blues had to come from behind at Kingsmeadow to do it. The visitors led 2-1 at the break, but two stunning volleys from Kerr and a goal from Reiten sealed our victory and ensured we lifted the WSL trophy once again.
Extra-time winner in the Women's FA Cup final - 15 May 2022
We couldn't be separated from Manchester City in the 2022 FA Cup final as the 90 minutes concluded with the scores deadlocked at 2-2. Kerr had already found the back of the net in normal time, and it was the Australian who powered in a dramatic decider which saved us from the fate of a penalty shoot-out, smashing in a deflected winner to clinch our fourth Women's FA Cup trophy.
50th WSL goal - 2 April 2023
Kerr continued to make WSL history as she became the first non-European player to score 50 WSL goals when she scored our third in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa which saw us move within one point of then league leaders Manchester United.
FA Cup final winner - 14 May 2023
There was no need for extra time in the 2023, as Kerr netted the match-winning FA Cup final goal for the second consecutive season, this time against Manchester United. The prolific Australian scored from a Pernille Harder cross and pulled out her iconic backflip celebration as we lifted the historic trophy once more.
First Women's Champions League hat-trick - 23 November 2023
Chelsea fans were treated to Kerr's first-ever Champions League hat-trick when we faced Paris FC at Stamford Bridge in the competition's group stage. The best of the bunch was her third strike, an audacious looping chip from outside the box just after half-time as we finished as 4-1 winners on the night.
Scores 100th Chelsea goal on return from injury layoff - 14 September 2025
Kerr's next magic moment was a long time coming. After 634 days on the sidelines following a devastating ACL injury suffered in December 2023, the striker returned to action as a second-half substitute at Villa Park and immediately reminded fans what they had been missing. Not only did she score on that return to action, but it marked her 100th goal in Chelsea colours. It was worth the wait.
