Chelsea goalkeeper Becky Spencer will remain with the club for a further year after an option to extend her contract has been exercised.
The Jamaica international spent the last three months of the domestic Treble-winning 2024/25 season with the Blues after initially joining on loan from Tottenham Hotspur in March 2025.
The experienced 35-year-old then completed a permanent transfer at the end of that campaign, signing a one-year contract, with an option to extend until 2027.
It has now been agreed that Spencer, who also represented Chelsea in a separate spell between 2016 and 2018, will remain with us next season.
Everyone at Chelsea is delighted that Becky will be spending a further year with us and wishes to congratulate her on extending her contract.
