Chelsea goalkeeper Becky Spencer was named in the starting line-up for the Reggae Girlz as they took on Nicaragua in their latest CONCACAF W Championship match on Monday evening.
This is the second of the three FIFA Women’s International Match Windows, which serve as the preliminary stage of qualifying for the Women's World Cup in 2027.
The six group winners from this tournament will go on to join the USA and Canada in the confederation’s qualifying for both the World Cup and the 2028 LA Summer Olympics.
A brace from Manchester City striker Khadija Shaw and a goal from Newcastle United's Shania Hayles saw Jamaica come back from 1-0 down to record a 3-2 win over Nicaragua at the Estadio Nacional in Managua.
The victory sees the Reggae Girlz top the Group B table after two matches, with a goal difference of 19 after their astonishing 18-0 victory against Dominica back in November.
Jamaica's next match will be held on 10 April, where they will take on Antigua and Barbuda, before concluding their W qualifier campaign when they face Guyana eight days later.
