Ann-Katrin Berger has been named as one of the three finalists for the Best FIFA Women's Goalkeeper award for the second year running.

The Chelsea goalkeeper, who in 2022 helped the Blues to a consecutive league and cup double and was part of the Germany squad that reached the Euros final, is joined by England and Manchester United’s Mary Earps, and by Lyon’s Chilean international Christiane Endler in the final reckoning.

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on Monday 27 February.

Berger, who has 50 clean sheets from 93 Chelsea appearances, has already been selected by the PFA as the best WSL goalkeeper of 2021/22.

In other categories in the Best FIFA awards, Jessie Fleming and Sam Kerr are on the long list of 14 nominations for Women’s Player and Emma Hayes is among six nominees for the Women’s Coach award, with the three finalists yet to be nominated for those two selections.
