Billy, along with his dad and best friend, were gifted tickets to Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace and was treated to an exclusive matchday experience.

The day began when he met with the squad as they arrived at Stamford Bridge, including to Billy’s amazement, receiving a handshake from his favourite player Cole Palmer.

Following that, he was given access to the press room before moving onto pitchside to watch his idols warm up for the match.

During the warm-up, Billy was surprised by Marc Guiu, who signed his matchday programme and joined him for a photo.

Billy said: ‘It has been such a surreal day. I have supported Chelsea all of my life, thanks to my grandad who is the reason why I support the Blues, and to have been pitchside at Stamford Bridge is something I will never forget.’

Billy’s day was organised following a referral from the Willow Foundation to Chelsea Foundation.
