The Three Lions will play four matches during an extended FIFA window as they kick off the new UEFA Nations League campaign.

Rogers retains his place in the squad from the summer’s FIFA World Cup, where he made seven appearances for England as they reached the semi-finals and then beat France in the third-place play-off.

Palmer returns to the squad for this international window, having last been selected by England boss Thomas Tuchel for the pair of friendlies in March. The 24-year-old will be hoping to add to his 14 caps and two goals for the Three Lions.

Palmer and Rogers' inclusions come after a brilliant start to the season at club level, with both dovetailing alongside Joao Pedro to devastating effect in the Premier League; they have produced a combined five goals and three assists across our four top-flight matches.

England will begin their Nations League campaign by hosting World Cup winners Spain at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 26 September, before back-to-back away games in Czechia on Tuesday 29 September and Croatia on Saturday 3 October.

They conclude their four matches during this international window back in London on Tuesday 6 October, when Croatia will be the visitors to Wembley.
