Chelsea will kick off preparations for our return to competitive action after the mid-season break when the squad depart for a warm weather training camp in Morocco on Thursday.

Emma Hayes’s side have been enjoying some well-deserved downtime over the Christmas and New Year period, and the visit to Morocco allows for an opportunity to reconvene and refocus ahead of five matches across three competitions in January.

A strong start to the season on both the domestic and European fronts sees us top the league table with 25 points from 30 available, while an unbeaten start to our UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign sees us lead the way in Group D by a single point with two group games left to navigate.

We return to competitive action when we begin the defence of our Adobe Women’s FA Cup title in the fourth round against West Ham United at Kingsmeadow on Sunday 14 January, with kick-off scheduled for 1.00pm (UK time).

This precedes two tantilising fixtures at Stamford Bridge with Manchester United the visitors in the Women’s Super League on Sunday 21 January, before we face Real Madrid on matchday five of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Wednesday 24 January.

Tickets for all three matches are available to purchase here.

Fans should keep an eye on our club channels to follow the squad’s activity in Morocco, with Hayes and her coaching team putting the squad through their paces as preparations for our return to competitive action intensify.
