Harrison Murray-Campbell, Kiano Dyer and Shumaira Mheuka all featured as England produced a dramatic comeback to claim a 5-5 draw against Germany at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Dyer was named in the starting XI for the Young Lions' second fixture of Group B, which did not go to plan during the opening 45 minutes.
Noah Darvich opened the scoring for Germany before Said El Mala produced a fine solo goal to double the advantage.
Joshua King temporarily reduced the deficit for England, but Hoffenheim's Max Moerstedt and Leopold Wurm of Jahn Regensburg netted before the interval to put Germany in a commanding position.
It got worse before it got better for the Young Lions, as El Mala scored his second, and it appeared the contest had been settled. Yet England fought back and struck four goals in the space of 11 scintillating minutes.
Ethan Wheatley netted England's second, former Academy Blue Reiss Russell-Denny the third, Zach Abbott the fourth, and Jesse Derry the fifth.
Mheuka was introduced from the bench with 13 minutes to play as England searched for a winner, and Murray Campbell came on in the final moments, but the highest-scoring game in the competition's history ended level
After their opening two matches, England remain second in Group B. They face the current leaders, the Netherlands, in their final fixture on Friday and need to win to secure a place in the semi-finals.
