Levi Colwill is the second guest on our new video series, CFC Unlocked, and the Blues centre-back discusses self-improvement, relaxing away from the pitch, the defensive partners he's played alongside, and plenty more.
Miami provides the backdrop for our second episode; the Magic City is where the Blues were based in the build-up to our Club World Cup round of 16 clash with Benfica.
After an intense morning training session, Levi sat down to discuss a range of subjects, with his career and life off the pitch among the talking points.
One of those was how he handles the responsibility of being an Academy graduate in the first team. With such a strong link to the club, which he joined as an under-9, Levi admits it took him some time to handle the expectation.
'Last season, I was getting myself so emotional because of the connection [I have with the club]. It was clouding my judgment of how I play.
'This season, I broke it in two: I want to help the team as much as possible, but I have to stay emotionally calm, be the person I am, and not get dragged into getting angry or something like that because we're not winning.
'I need to stay calm so I can help the team as much as possible.'
