The countdown to Christmas is on and every day across the Chelsea Official App and Website, we are bringing you exclusive Blues content! Today, we discuss Enzo Fernandez's Christmas traditions.
For Enzo Fernandez, Christmas is all about family. From fond memories of unwrapping gifts in his native Argentina to creating new memories and traditions in England with his own children, the midfielder reflects on his own festive customs during the Christmas holidays.
What is your first memory of Christmas?
When Santa got me my first PlayStation! I still remember that to this day. That was one of the best presents I ever got.
What is the first thing you do after waking up on Christmas morning?
I unwrap presents with my family and my children, having spent quite a while wrapping them during the night!
What does Christmas Day look like for you and your family?
For us, Christmas Eve is a huge occasion where we get everyone together, and we all have a huge meal.
On Christmas Day, after opening the presents, we have another meal for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day together. Spending it with my family is the most important thing.
What's the one Argentine tradition that we should introduce to Christmas Day in England?
There should be more fireworks on Christmas Day – there's plenty on the day in Argentina!
What is your message for Chelsea supporters this Christmas?
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and happiness and love for everyone around the world. I hope they get everything they want and they get to enjoy some time with family and friends!
