With Christmas rapidly approaching, we’ve spoken to a number of Chelsea players across our men’s and women’s teams to find out about their favourite holiday memories as we count down to the big day.
We caught up with Levi Colwill who highlighted what’s important to him during the festive season – while also issuing a special Christmas message to Chelsea fans all around the globe.

The centre-half said: ‘A traditional Christmas for me would be everyone going around my nan’s house and all the family getting together very early, bringing presents, playing games, opening presents and just having a laugh.
‘I think, still to this day, that is the best thing about Christmas. Family is the most important thing when it comes to Christmas. Celebrating it with everyone is the best thing about it.
‘That’s what I look forward to every year, just getting together because as a footballer or anyone in general, you don’t always get to see your family as much as you would like to.
‘For me, seeing everyone is the best thing and the most important thing at Christmas.’
Levi’s Christmas message
Before signing off, the Academy graduate wanted to send his best wishes to our fans around the world celebrating Christmas, delivering the following message…
Levi added: ‘I hope everyone has a very good Christmas. We have a game on Christmas Eve so hopefully, we can make it better for everyone watching and all the fans travelling up by putting on a great game, and hopefully everyone enjoys it.’
