Monday

A quick turnaround between games during the busy end-of-year fixture schedule means there is plenty to keep you entertained at the start of this week. You can begin by catching up on the weekend's action, with highlights of the narrow 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa. For the last time in 2025, it is a Chelsea matchday on Tuesday. The Blues round out the year with a home game at Stamford Bridge, hosting Bournemouth in west London, hoping to get back to winning ways to end the year on a high in front of the Stamford Bridge supporters.

As we move into 2026, Maresca will be facing the media at Cobham on Friday for his pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea's first match of the New Year. You can watch it live on the Chelsea Official App and website, or catch up on demand later in the day.

The Blues take to the pitch for the first time in 2026 on Sunday afternoon, and our opening game of the year is a big one. We travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City in the Premier League, with a chance to begin a new year by cutting the gap to the team in second place above us in the table.
