Chelsea have been drawn away at Wrexham AFC in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Liam Rosenior's side sealed our place in the fifth round with a convincing 4-0 victory over Championship club Hull City on Friday evening.
Pedro Neto struck a hat-trick in our win at the MKM Stadium, while Estevao Willian also got on the scoresheet as the Blues advanced.
The fifth-round draw, which was conducted by former Blues Karen Carney and Joe Cole, took place this evening ahead of Macclesfield's round four match against Brentford.
And the Blues, eight-time FA Cup winners, have been handed an away tie against Championship side Wrexham.
Fifth-round ties are due to be played around the weekend of 7/8 March 2026, and full fixture and ticket information will follow in due course.
Chelsea have not faced Wrexham in a competitive game since February 1982, in the old Division Two, after the Welsh club fell on hard times.
However, the takeover of Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in late-2020 has seen the club rise from the fifth-tier National League to the Championship, with the TV series Welcome to Wrexham making the club a household name once again.
Wrexham were promoted to the Championship in the summer after finishing second in League One and are currently in eighth position, just one point below the play-offs.
Whilst we have not faced Wrexham competitively since 1982, we have faced the Reds in two of the previous three summers during pre-season friendlies in the US, winning the 2023 clash 5-0 and drawing 2-2 in the summer of 2024.
