Chelsea have been drawn at home to League One side Port Vale in the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
Liam Rosenior's side sealed our place in the last eight with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Championship club Wrexham on Saturday evening.
The Blues had to come from behind twice at the Racecourse Ground, through an own goal and then a fine Josh Acheampong strike. Goals in extra-time from Alejandro Garnacho and Joao Pedro secured our passage to the next round at the end of a classic Cup tie.
The quarter-final draw took place at the London Stadium this evening ahead of West Ham United's round five match against Brentford.
And the Blues, eight-time FA Cup winners, have been pitted against Port Vale at Stamford Bridge, with the winner earning a place in the semi-finals.
Chelsea have not played Port Vale in a competitive fixture since the 1928/29 season, when we drew 3-3 at Stamford Bridge and lost 1-0 away from home in the old Division Two.
We have never played a game at Vale Park, the home of Port Vale. Most of our previous meetings were at their old Recreation Ground.
This will be our first FA Cup meeting.
Quarter-final ties are due to be played around the weekend of 4/5 April 2026, and full fixture and ticket information will follow in due course.
