Chelsea Under-18s' 2025/26 FA Youth Cup campaign will kick off with an away trip to Brentford, following the third-round draw for the prestigious academy competition.

All Premier League and Championship clubs enter the FA Youth Cup at the third round and the Blues have been paired with Brentford, a Category Two side, for our first match of the tournament.

Chelsea are no strangers to success in the competition, having lifted the trophy nine times, most recently in 2018 after a 7-1 aggregate victory over Arsenal in the final. The last time the Blues reached the Youth Cup final was in 2020, finishing runners-up to Manchester City.

Last season's campaign began with a dramatic 3-2 comeback win at Leicester City, followed by a dominant 7-1 home victory over Merstham Town at Kingsmeadow. The run ended in the fifth round against Manchester United.

All third-round ties for the 2025/26 FA Youth Cup are scheduled to be completed by Saturday 13 December. Exact details of the date, time and venue for Chelsea Under-18s’ trip to Brentford will be confirmed in due course.
