Conor Gallagher and Levi Colwill have been named in the England squad ahead of the Three Lions’ forthcoming fixtures against Malta and North Macedonia.

Colwill made his senior debut in the last international break, playing the full 90 minutes of a 1-0 friendly win against Australia. Gallagher has now accrued 10 caps for his country, the most recent of which was in the same game in which Colwill debuted.

England have already guaranteed their place at Euro 2024. They conclude their qualification campaign at home to Malta on Friday 17 November, and then away to North Macedonia on Monday 20 November.

The next international break is in March, when England will host friendlies against Belgium and Brazil in preparation for the Euros, which is being held in Germany between June and July next year.

The England Under-21 squad, which last month featured Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Bashir Humphreys, is being announced tomorrow (Friday) morning.
