Chelsea's Lexi Potter and Katie Cox have been called up to the England Women Under-23 for two fixtures in October, while a quartet of Blues have been selected for England Women's Under-19s.

The Under-23s will face Germany at the Sportpark Johannisau in Fulda on Thursday 23 October at 5.15pm, where they could face Blues midfielder Mara Alber, who has also been called up to the Germany Under-23 squad.

The squad returns to England for a second match on Monday 27 October at Northampton Town's Sixfields Stadium, where they will face Portugal at 7pm.

Potter has featured on the bench for Chelsea's senior side on several occasions this season, and Katie Cox has been starting in goal for Aberdeen after joining the Scottish side on a season-long loan in the summer.

Meanwhile, Blues quartet Eva Hendle, Vera Jones, Chloe Sarwie and Lois Shooter have been called up by England Women Under-19 boss Lauren Smith.

Jones is currently on loan at Women's Super League 2 side Bristol City, while Sarwie made her Chelsea debut against FC Twente last week, coming on in the 73 minute to replace Sandy Baltimore.

Eva Hendle and Lois Shooter were part of the Chelsea travelling squad that spent six days in the Netherlands in pre-season.

The Under-19 side will face three fixtures at the Sportland Arena in Tallinn during the international break as they bid to qualify for the forthcoming U19 European Championship.

The first is scheduled for Wednesday 22nd October against Estonia at 6pm BST. The second will be held on Saturday 25 October against Greece at 2pm BST, and the final fixture will be on Tuesday 28 October against Austria with kick-off set for 1pm GMT.
