Chelsea is delighted to announce that an option to extend the contract of goalkeeper Emily Orman by a further year has been exercised.

After joining the club as a 16-year-old, Orman signed her first professional contract with the Blues ahead of the 2021/22 season having spent the majority of the previous campaign training with the first team.

The 20-year-old spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Crystal Palace in the Women’s Championship before returning to Chelsea ahead of the 2022/23 season, where she has been in the first team squad for the entirety of the campaign.

On the international stage, Orman has represented England across the age groups all the way from Under-14s to Under-19s level.

We look forward to seeing Emily continue her development in blue next season.
