Chelsea Foundation, alongside Kick It Out, the Football Association, English Football League, Professional Footballers’ Association and Watford FC, spent three days on the Holocaust educational programme.

The March of the Living culminated on Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with 10,000 people retracing the steps taking by million of Jewish people from Auschwitz to Birkenau, known as the March of Death.

The programme also involved hearing from Holocaust survivors as well as visits to the old synagogue of Dabrowa Tarnowska, Schindler's Factory and Zybylitowska Gora where the group lit a candle for those murdered.

'Having taken our own delegations of fan groups, Academy players and colleagues to Auschwitz and March of the Living in the past, we understand the importance of visiting Holocaust sites of remembrance and the power they have to educate on the dangers of where hate can lead.
