Chelsea supporters were in no doubt as to who deserved our February Player of the Month award, with a landslide winner in our vote on the Chelsea Official App.

The Blues were in action five times across three competitions in February, with a Premier League victory recorded over Wolverhampton Wanderers and progress made in the FA Cup with a comprehensive win at Hull City.

We scored ten goals in last month's fixtures and it was a player key to that output that supporters voted as the Blues' standout performer: Joao Pedro.

It was a special month for the Brazilian international, who was involved in the thick of the action in almost every match, even when he wasn't etching his name onto the scoresheet.

He struck twice during the month – a deft finish against Leeds United and a close-range strike against Burnley – and also claimed three assists.

Two came against Wolves, with Joao Pedro winning both our penalties at Molineux, and he was also brought down for a spot-kick, converted by Cole Palmer, against Leeds.

There was little doubt among the fans who voted on the Chelsea Official App, with the 24-year-old the overwhelming winner, earning an impressive 82 per cent of the tally.

The runner-up was Palmer, who took eight per cent of the vote after a month that saw the England international score a hat-trick against Wolves and register an assist against Leeds.

Completing the podium was Pedro Neto with five per cent, who had also bagged a hat-trick during the month.

Congratulations, JP!
