It seems like our last campaign has only just ended, but it is almost time for preparations to begin for 2025/26, with a pair of friendlies fast approaching. Here is all the vital information to follow Chelsea in pre-season.
Where are Chelsea spending pre-season?
Having spent much of June and July in the USA competing in our glorious FIFA Club World Cup campaign, we will be staying close to home for pre-season this year. As well as training at Cobham, Chelsea will be hosting the 2025 VisitMalta Weekender friendly tournament at Stamford Bridge.
When are Chelsea's pre-season friendlies?
The Blues will kick-off the VisitMalta Weekender with our first fixture at 7pm on the evening of Friday 8 August. We will be in action at the Bridge again two days later, at 3pm on Sunday 10 August.
Who are Chelsea playing in pre-season?
The first of those two games is against Bundesliga runners-up Bayer Leverkusen, as their newly appointed head coach Erik ten Hag brings his side to London following a summer tour to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Next up it is AC Milan. The Italian giants welcomed back Massimiliano Allegri as their head coach this summer, 11 years on from his last time at the club, and will complete their pre-season preparations in London following matches in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

Tickets for Chelsea's matches against Bayer Leverkusen and Milan are both now on general sale, following a period of priority access for season ticket holders and members. Tickets are available up to four per person, with season ticket holders and members continuing to save £10 from the price of each ticket.
