Five Chelsea players have received international call-ups ahead of the upcoming Under-20 World Cup in Argentina later this month.
Carney Chukwuemeka, Harvey Vale, Bashir Humphreys and Teddy Sharman-Lowe have all been named in the England squad, while Gabriel Slonina has been included in the USA camp.
Chukwuemeka and Vale have both captained England in the recent past and are expected to be key members of Ian Foster’s side in Buenos Aires.
Humphreys, who has impressed on loan in Germany with Paderborn during the second half of this season, made his Chelsea debut against Manchester City in the FA Cup in January and is included in the 21-strong Three Lions squad.
Goalkeepers Sharman-Lowe and Slonina are both set for World Cup action for England and USA respectively, with the latter having already been capped at senior level.
England begin their campaign on Monday 22 May against Tunisia, while USA start their tournament against Ecuador two days earlier.
