Despite being edged out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage, there have still been some memorable moments during our campaign in Europe this season. We've picked out our top five, and you can vote for your favourite after rejogging your memory below...

Andreas nets his first Chelsea goal

Andreas Christensen scored his first-ever Chelsea goal in what was his 137th appearance for the club in our 4-0 win over Swedish side Malmo.

After Thiago Silva clipped an inviting cross into the box, the Dane made a darting run across his marker and volleyed the ball into the ground, which ensured it looped over the Malmo goalkeeper and into the Shed End net.

A 4-0 thrashing at the Bridge

Three Cobham Academy graduates were on the scoresheet as Italian side Juventus visited west London in November.

Trevoh Chalobah opened the scoring with a cool finish from close range, before a fine strike from the ever-impressive Reece James was later added to by Callum Hudson-Odoi, after neat work from Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Our fastest ever Champions League goal

Timo Werner’s early strike at Zenit Saint Petersburg was our fastest ever in the competition, after he scored from Ross Barkley’s corner after just 83 seconds.

The German then doubled his tally in Russia, before a stoppage time equaliser from the hosts prevented us from top spot in Group H.

Azpi’s winner in Lille

The skipper just loves playing against Lille and he proved it again with this winning goal in France, scoring his first goal in the Champions League since he scored against the Ligue 1 side in December 2019.

The Blues had fell behind at the Stade Pierre Mauroy to a penalty but after Christian Pulisic levelled on the stroke of half-time, the captain stepped up to see us through to the last eight of the competition.

The European Champions bow out with pride

Despite defeat over the two legs against record winners Real Madrid, Chelsea’s performance in the Spanish capital on Tuesday night was exceptional and recorded an eighth successive away win – a club record.

There were some excellent performances all over the park in Chelsea’s first-ever Santiago Bernabeu appearance, but scoring three goals was not enough in the end despite becoming just the second English team to score three goals away against Real Madrid in European competition.
