Rocky Mountain Blues took centre stage as Chelsea fans from across the United States gathered at Union Station for a memorable celebration of our global fanbase.
Downtown Denver was filled with Chelsea blue as supporters came together for Premier League Mornings Live, a weekend showcasing the passion, energy and community that define following the club in the United States.
Fans arrived early to watch Chelsea take on Bournemouth, and they were rewarded with an entertaining game packed with goals. From the first whistle, the Chelsea contingent made its presence felt, bringing colour and noise to Union Station and creating a matchday atmosphere thousands of miles from Stamford Bridge.
Supporters travelled from across the United States, with many members of different Official Chelsea Supporters Clubs joining the celebrations. Among them were members from as far away as the Nepal Supporters Club.
At the centre of the weekend was the Rocky Mountain Blues, Chelsea’s fantastic Denver-based official supporters club. Premier League Mornings Live provided the perfect platform to share more of their story: how the group has grown from strength to strength, welcomed new members and built a close-knit community around a shared love of Chelsea.
The group showed exactly what makes supporter clubs so special. Ahead of the main event, the Rocky Mountain Blues hosted a meet-up at the British Bulldog, the group’s much-loved home in Denver. Members gather there every weekend, often in the earliest hours of the morning, to watch both Chelsea’s men’s and women’s teams as a group.
Last weekend, the Rocky Mountain Blues were able to share their journey with a wider audience and show how the group has grown from strength to strength. For every Chelsea fan in attendance, it was another reminder that, no matter the distance from London, Blues fans are never far from home with the global Official Supporters Club programme.
