Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer have all been nominated for inclusion in the 2024/25 Premier League Fan Team of the Season.
A total of 60 players have been included on the Premier League’s shortlist for 2024/25 – 10 from each position – with the Blues represented by Caicedo, Cucurella and Palmer, in the centre-midfielder, full-back and forward categories respectively.
For Palmer, he will be hoping to make it a second successive inclusion in the team, having made the final XI for 2023/24, when he was Chelsea’s only representative. The 23-year-old has also been nominated for this season’s Premier League Young Player of the Season award, after registering an impressive 15 goals and eight assists in the competition so far.
He is joined on the Fan Team of the Season shortlist by Chelsea’s own 2024/25 Player of the Season, Caicedo, who was also chosen by his team-mates as our Players’ Player of the Season. The Ecuadorian is the only Blue who has started every single league game in 2024/25, going into the final weekend.
The third Chelsea nominee is Cucurella, who has been enjoying arguably the best season of his career so far. He netted his seventh goal of the season from full-back - five in the Premier League - to give us a crucial win over Manchester United on Friday evening, and keeping qualification for the Champions League in our hands heading into the match with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Premier League Fan Team of the Season is decided by a public poll and you can show your support by casting a vote for the Chelsea trio now here. You have until Thursday 29 May to have your say.
