The Blues go into our fourth Premier League match of the season in fourth place in the table, three points behind the two sides with 100 per cent records and one behind Saturday’s opponents Hull City, who have won two and drawn one of their matches.

Chelsea meet Hull City for the 50th time in all competitions, needing three more goals to reach 100 against the Tigers, who were the first-ever competitive visitors to Stamford Bridge in 1905, when they were beaten 5-1.
The sides last met in February, when Chelsea won 4-0 at the MKM Stadium in the FA Cup fourth round. Pedro Neto got a hat-trick and Estevao Willian scored our other goals.
The last time Hull were in the Premier League in 2016/17, both league fixtures ended in 2-0 wins for the Londoners, Diego Costa netting in both.
Chelsea have won our past nine matches against Hull City in all competitions and are unbeaten in 17 (15 wins, two draws) since the Tigers’ last victory, 3-0 at Boothferry Park in the old Second Division in October 1988. That remains Hull’s only win against Chelsea in the last 36 meetings over more than a century.
Chelsea are unbeaten in all 10 Premier League meetings with Hull, having only faced Portsmouth more often in the competition without losing (14).
The Blues are undefeated at Stamford Bridge against the Tigers in 23 matches in all competitions. Hull’s four victories against us have all been at their former grounds Anlaby Road (1906, 1911, 1925) and Boothferry Park (1988).

The Tigers are on a run of nine unbeaten games in all competitions since losing at Charlton Athletic in the Championship in April.
Hull City remain the only Premier League side yet to concede a goal this season. They are only the third promoted team to keep a clean sheet in each of their first three Premier League games, after Charlton (1998/99) and Huddersfield Town (2017/18).
Hull allowed Aston Villa just one shot on target last weekend and had only 26.5 per cent possession.
