Chelsea are seeking a sixth consecutive home league win against Leeds for the first time.

Leeds’ last league win on our soil was in December 1999, when a 2-0 victory put them top of the table. The Blues finished the game with 10 men after Frank Leboeuf was sent off after 68 minutes.

In the reverse fixture at Elland Road in August, Leeds inflicted our heaviest defeat there since March 1995 (also 3-0). It ended our eight-match unbeaten run against the Whites in league and cup.

Leeds are looking for a league double against the Blues for the first time since 1991/92, when they went on to be Division One champions.

Only Newcastle (15) and Arsenal (23) have conceded fewer Premier League goals this season than Chelsea (25).

At Stamford Bridge in the league, the Blues have conceded eight goals. No side has conceded fewer at home.

The Blues are seeking a Premier League win for the first time since we defeated Crystal Palace at the Bridge in January six games ago (three draws, two defeats).

Chelsea are aiming to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions for the first time since a run of six in October/November 1993. The last time we lost four in a row without scoring was in March 1929.

It was their first win in the competition in 11 games, since they beat Bournemouth on 5 November, and their fourth in 21 matches.

No side have won fewer points (six) away from home this season in the Premier League than Leeds (also West Ham and Nottingham Forest). They have won at Liverpool and picked up draws at Southampton, Newcastle and Man Utd.

Chelsea stats

Mason Mount has been directly involved in five goals (three goals, two assists) in his past six matches against Leeds in all competitions. Only against Norwich (eight) has he recorded more goals and assists in English football.

Chelsea have allowed the fewest opposition passes per defensive action in the Premier League this season (9.3), an indication the Blues are the most aggressive pressing team in the division on average.

This will be our seventh Saturday 3pm kick-off this season. Having won the first four against Leicester (h), West Ham (h), Crystal Palace (a) and Wolves (h), we have lost the last two to Brighton (a) and Southampton (h).

Chelsea milestone

If selected, Trevoh Chalobah will make his 50th appearance for the club in all competitions.

Leeds stats

Javi Gracia’s side are playing their second game in London SW6 in five days. They lost 2-0 to Fulham on Tuesday in the FA Cup.

Gracia is hoping to become the second Leeds manager to win his first two Premier League games with the Whites. The other was Terry Venables in August 2002.

Leeds have dropped 15 points from winning positions this season. From the 11 games they were leading, they went on to lose three and draw three.

The Whites have conceded 304 fouls in the Premier League in 2022/23, more than any other side.

Javi Gracia averaged 1.18 pts per game as a Premier League manager for Watford, the second-highest rate by any Hornets boss in the competition behind Nigel Pearson (1.25), and higher than Leeds' Jesse Marsch averaged before leaving the club (1.08).

Jack Harrison has assisted 14 goals since Leeds' return to the Premier League in 2020, three more than any other current player for the Whites in that time.
