All the vital information you need to know going into Tuesday night's Premier League visit of old rivals Leeds United to Stamford Bridge.

With the Premier League reaching its 26th round of fixtures for this season, Chelsea are in fifth place on 43 points, four points behind third-placed Aston Villa and one behind Manchester United in fourth. Leeds, with 29 points, are two places and six points above the relegation zone.

Head-to-head

Chelsea are seeking a seventh consecutive home league win against Leeds United for the first time in our history. Leeds' last league win at Stamford Bridge was in December 1999, when a 2-0 victory put them top of the Premier League table. The Blues finished the game with 10 men when Frank Leboeuf was sent off after 68 minutes.

Leeds won this season’s reverse fixture 3-1, at Elland Road in December, with Pedro Neto scoring our goal in the second half.

Leeds are looking for a league double against the Blues for the first time since 1991/92, when they went on to be Division One champions. They are hoping to become just the second promoted side to complete the Premier League double over Chelsea, after Charlton Athletic in 2000/01.

Chelsea stats

Chelsea are looking to win five consecutive Premier League games for the first time since December 2024, as well as aiming for three consecutive home wins in the competition for the first time since last May.

Chelsea have lost just four of our past 73 home Premier League games against newly promoted sides (Bournemouth in 2015, West Bromwich Albion in 2021, Brentford in 2022 and Sunderland this season). We have won 55 and drawn 14 of the others.

Cole Palmer is the first Chelsea player to score four Premier League hat-tricks, moving ahead of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard (all with three). He is also the first player in Premier League history to score three hat-tricks in the first half of a match - Everton at home and Brighton & Hove Albion at home in 2024, before Wolverhampton Wanderers away on Saturday.

Liam Rosenior is looking to join Craig Shakespeare (Leicester City, 2017) as the only English head coaches to win each of their first five Premier League games.

Chelsea won our first two home Premier League games under Liam Rosenior. He is aiming to be the first Blues head coach since Maurizio Sarri in 2018 to win his first three at Stamford Bridge.

The win at Wolves meant Rosenior became the fifth Blues head coach to win his first four league matches at the helm, after Jose Mourinho in 2004/05, Guus Hiddink in 2008/09, Carlo Ancelotti in 2009/10 and Sarri in 2018/19.

Chelsea have not lost a Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on a Tuesday since January 2002 (4-2 to Southampton), going unbeaten in 17 since then (11 wins, six draws).

Joao Pedro has been involved in four goals in his past four home Premier League appearances for Chelsea (three goals, one assist).

Only Arsenal (13) and Manchester City (10) have kept more clean sheets in the Premier League than Chelsea’s nine this season.

Leeds United have won two of their past 25 away Premier League matches (six draws, 17 defeats), but have only lost one of their past five away games in the competition, drawing the other four.

The Whites have earned 76 per cent of their Premier League points this season at Elland Road, the highest proportion at home of any side in the division. They have amassed seven points from their 12 games on the road this season. Their one away win came at Wolves in September.

Leeds have not won any of their past seven midweek away games in the Premier League (three draws, four defeats), with the Whites conceding 24 goals in those matches (3.4 per game).

Leeds and Chelsea have dropped 15 points from winning positions this season, only Newcastle United (19), Bournemouth and West Ham United (both 18) have dropped more.
