Frank Lampard has made three changes to his team for today's final game of the 2022/23 season against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea vs Newcastle lineups

Thiago Silva returns to our defence after watching from the bench at Manchester United. He replaces Wesley Fofana in an otherwise unchanged defence, alongside captain Cesar Azpilicueta, Trevoh Chalobah and Lewis Hall, in front of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is the change in midfield, coming in for Carney Chukwuemeka, as Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher retain their spots as we finish the campaign against Newcastle.

The third and final change by Lampard comes in the forward line, where Mykhailo Mudryk makes way for Raheem Sterling, who will line up in attack with Kai Havertz and Noni Madueke.

Mateo Kovacic is fit for a place on the bench after being out through injury in recent weeks.

With their place in the top four now secure, Newcastle make four changes to their team, with Martin Dubravka, Matt Targett, Allan Saint-Maximin and Anthony Gordon all coming into the side.
